We operate the website https://www.role-radar.com (the "Site"), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the "Legal Terms") (collectively, the "Services").
RoleRadar is a software platform that scores job listings against your resume and preferences, generates scouting reports, and provides application tracking tools.

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Role Radar LLC, concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
AS DESCRIBED BELOW, THESE TERMS PROVIDE FOR THE USE OF ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES, RATHER THAN JURY TRIALS OR CLASS ACTIONS, AND LIMIT THE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO YOU IN A DISPUTE. YOU CAN OPT OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE BY CONTACTING LEGAL@ROLE-RADAR.COM WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER FIRST ACCEPTING THESE TERMS AND STATING YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME AND THAT YOU DECLINE THIS AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE.
We will provide you with prior notice of any scheduled changes to the Services you are using. The modified Legal Terms will become effective upon posting or notifying you by Legal@role-radar.com. By continuing to use the Services after the effective date of any changes, you agree to be bound by the modified terms.
The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services.
Service. The "Service" includes RoleRadar's job search tools, including job scoring, scouting reports, application tracking, and related features available at role-radar.com, which may be updated or modified from time to time, and all intellectual property contained therein. Any person who accesses or uses the Service is a "User."
License. Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, Role Radar LLC grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal job search purposes. The Service is solely for your personal use and not for resale. Role Radar LLC reserves the right at all times and without notice to: (1) restrict and/or terminate your access to the Service (or any portion thereof); and (2) modify or discontinue providing the Service (or any portion thereof).
Deactivation. Role Radar LLC may, at any time and without notice to you: (1) restrict, deactivate, or terminate your access to the Service (or any portion thereof); or (2) terminate or modify the Service (or any portion thereof). We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such termination or modification. If you are dissatisfied with any change, your only remedy is to stop using the Service.
Privacy Policy. Our policy regarding the collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Legal Terms, you acknowledge your agreement with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms. The Services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from any other region of the world with laws governing personal data collection, use, or disclosure that differ from applicable laws in the United States, then through your continued use of the Services, you are transferring your data to the United States, and you expressly consent to have your data transferred to and processed in the United States.
Registration. You are required to create an account to use the Services. You must provide current, complete, and accurate information during registration. If you provide information that is not current, complete, or accurate, we may terminate your access to the Services.
Eligibility. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have not been previously suspended or removed from the Services.
Credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at Legal@role-radar.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. You are responsible for all use of the Services occurring under your account and all content posted with your account. You may not share your login credentials with any third party. We will not be liable for any loss that you incur as a result of someone else using your login credentials or account.
How the Service Works. RoleRadar processes your resume and preferences to score job listings and generate scouting reports. This processing occurs on our servers.
Your Data Stays Yours. Your data is not sent to third-party AI services and is not used to train machine learning models. You may delete your data at any time through your account settings.
Limitations and Your Responsibilities. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND ASSISTIVE PURPOSES ONLY. You acknowledge and agree that: (i) scores and scouting reports may contain errors or inaccuracies; (ii) you are solely responsible for reviewing all scores and reports before relying on them in job applications or career decisions; (iii) we do not guarantee that the Service will identify all relevant job opportunities or produce recommendations suitable for your specific situation; (iv) scores and scouting reports should not be relied upon as professional career counseling, legal advice, or guaranteed job search strategy; (v) employment outcomes depend on many factors beyond the information provided by the Service, and we make no representations or warranties regarding employment outcomes.
Your Content. You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Services ("Your Content"), including your resume, profile photo, job preferences, and feedback. By using the Services, you grant Role Radar LLC a limited license to use Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Services to you. This license terminates when you delete your account.
Account Deletion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. When you delete your account: your account and all associated data (resume, profile, preferences, scores, scouting reports, and tracked applications) will be permanently deleted; deletion cannot be undone; if you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account to avoid future charges; some information may be retained as required by law (such as billing records).
Data Export. You may export your tracked application data at any time using the Export CSV feature in the Application Tracker. We recommend exporting any data you wish to keep before deleting your account, as deleted data cannot be recovered.
Data Portability. Under applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please submit a data subject access request.
Free Beta. RoleRadar is currently available as a free, invite-only beta. No payment is required to use the Services during the beta period.
Future Paid Features. When paid features become available, payments will be processed by Stripe, Inc. Subscription terms, pricing, billing periods, cancellation procedures, and refund policies will be disclosed before any charges are incurred. By providing payment information, you will authorize us to share necessary information with Stripe to process your transactions. Your use of Stripe's services will be subject to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
Fee Changes. We may, from time to time, make changes to subscription fees and will communicate any price changes to you in accordance with applicable law before your next renewal date. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before your renewal date.
License to Your Content. By uploading or transmitting content to the Services, you grant Role Radar LLC a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use, process, and store such content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Services for you. This license terminates when you delete your account.
Your Representations. You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of uploading it. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that: you are the owner of the content or have sufficient rights to grant the license above; your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights; and your content does not contain viruses or other harmful code.
Monitoring. We have the right (but not the obligation) to review content uploaded to the Services; to remove any content; and to disclose content and the circumstances surrounding its transmission to any third party in order to operate the Services properly, to protect ourselves and our users, and to comply with legal obligations or governmental requests.
Feedback. If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas concerning the Services ("Feedback"), you hereby assign to us all right, title, and interest in and to the Feedback, and we are free to use such Feedback without payment, attribution, or restriction.
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. You may use the Services solely for lawful purposes, as intended through the provided functionality. As a user of the Services, you agree not to:
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, including job listings on external career pages ("Third-Party Websites"). Such Third-Party Websites are not investigated, monitored, or checked for accuracy by us, and we are not responsible for any Third-Party Websites accessed through the Services. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those services' terms and policies.
Role Radar IP. The Services, including the scoring engine, scouting report system, user interface, and all intellectual property rights therein (collectively, the "Content"), are owned by Role Radar LLC and its licensors. Our Content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties in the United States and around the world. No ownership rights are transferred to you by these Legal Terms.
Name and Branding. You may not use the RoleRadar name, logo, or branding in connection with any product or service that is not ours, or in any manner likely to cause confusion, without our prior written consent.
Usage Data. We may collect and analyze data relating to your use of the Services that is aggregated in such a way that it is not associated with you ("Usage Data"). We may use Usage Data for any purpose, including improving the Services and developing new features.
Notifications. We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any material available on or through the Services infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please immediately notify our Designated Copyright Agent using the contact information provided below.
All Notifications should meet the requirements of DMCA 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) and include: (1) a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the infringing material; (4) contact information for the complaining party; (5) a good faith belief statement; and (6) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.

Term. These Legal Terms shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Services.
Termination. Either party may terminate these Legal Terms, effective upon written notice to the other party, if the other party materially breaches these Legal Terms and such breach is incapable of cure, or the breaching party does not cure such breach within 30 days of receiving notice.
Effect of Termination. If we terminate or suspend your account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering and creating a new account under your name, a fake or borrowed name, or the name of any third party. Sections 3, 4, 6, 9, and 13-19 survive termination.
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We cannot guarantee the Services will be available at all times. You agree that we have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Services during any downtime or discontinuance.
ROLE RADAR LLC MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, ACCURACY, TITLE, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL SATISFY YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE WITHOUT DEFECT OR ERROR, OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF ANY JOB SCORES, SCOUTING REPORTS, OR RECOMMENDATIONS PROVIDED BY THE SERVICES.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL ROLE RADAR LLC OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS HAVE ANY LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
DAMAGES CAP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (1) THE AMOUNT OF FEES PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (2) $100.00 USD.
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES AND YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION ON THE SERVICES IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
At our option and request, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Role Radar LLC, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from any actual or threatened third-party claim arising out of: (1) your breach of these Legal Terms; (2) your use of the Services in a manner not authorized; (3) your violation of third-party rights; or (4) any overt harmful act toward any other user.
Generally. You and Role Radar LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Legal Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration.
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, BY ENTERING INTO THESE LEGAL TERMS, YOU AND ROLE RADAR LLC ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS OR COLLECTIVE ACTION.
Exceptions. Nothing in these Legal Terms will waive the right of either party to: (1) bring an individual action in small claims court; (2) seek injunctive relief in aid of arbitration; or (3) file suit for intellectual property infringement.
Arbitration Rules. Governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and AAA Commercial Dispute Resolution Procedures. Hearings take place in San Francisco County, California.
Class Action Waiver. Each party may bring claims only in their individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
Opt Out. You may opt out by emailing Legal@role-radar.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms.
Governing Law. These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Visiting the Services, sending us emails, and completing online forms constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and agree that all agreements, notices, and disclosures we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.
If any complaint with us is not satisfactorily resolved, you can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, California 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254.
These Legal Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Our failure to exercise any right shall not operate as a waiver. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time. If any provision is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it is deemed severable and does not affect the remaining provisions.
